New Two Storey Residence (Front Unit 44A): Yokine

This is the Front Unit of a 2 Lot Battle-Axe Sub-Division in Yokine and part of a Three Unit Development.

With both West Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Approval and Development Application (D.A.) Approval from Local Council satisfied, fully Engineered and Certified Architectural Plans finalised and a Building Permit issued, Client and Design2Solution collaborated with experienced Structural Insulated Panel (SIPs) Builder, Bellissimo Homes for construction of this alternative construction and energy efficient Build.

Through a combination of design, (to ensure most appropriate Site orientation for Winter Solar Gain and Summer Shading) and, the energy efficiency of Bellissimo Homes EcoSIPs with Canon uPVC double glazing and roof insulation to suit, this Two Storey Home has achieved a 7.4 Star Rating (* whilst mandatory was 6 Star). In terms of performance, this allows the home to start from a better baseline as the EcoSIPs construction method provides improved building sealing. Accordingly, when mechanical heating and cooling are introduced, running costs will be less due to increased thermal performance. Future install of solar panels on the North-facing Skillion Roof will further reduce outgoings.
