New Two Storey Residence (Rear Unit 46B): Yokine

This is the Rear Unit of a 2 Lot Battle-Axe Sub-Division in Yokine and part of a Three Unit Development.

Following West Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Approval, Development Application (D.A.) & Building Permit Approvals from Local Council, fully Engineered and Certified Architectural Plans and Construction have completed for this alternative construction and energy efficient Build, the Client and Design2Solution have collaborated with experienced Structural Insulated Panel (SIPs) Builder, Bellissimo Homes.

Through a combination of design, (to ensure most appropriate Site orientation for Winter Solar Gain and Summer Shading) and, the energy efficiency of Bellissimo Homes EcoSIPs with Canon uPVC double glazing and roof insulation to suit, this Two Storey Home has achieved a 7.4 Star Rating (* when mandatory Rating was 6 Star). In terms of performance, this allows the home to start from a better baseline as the EcoSIPs construction method provides improved building sealing. Accordingly, when mechanical heating and cooling are introduced, running costs will be less due to increased thermal performance. The addition of solar panels on the North-facing Skillion Roof will further reduce outgoings.
