New Residence Two Storey: 134 Clifton Cres., Inglewood

This New Two Storey Residence is located on a corner Lot and forms part of the Two-Residence Development in Inglewood. The Home capitalises on the North-facing two-street frontage with an Alfresco Entertainment space opening onto a large garden area.

This New Home originally stood as a post-war Californian Bungalow. As it’s situated within the Heritage Protection Area (HPA), local Council planning policy required that the remaining dilapidated original structure was retained and, integrated into the new development. Additionally, part of the conditions of approval for sub-division of the original Land, a 6 x 6m truncation of the corner Lot was handed over to the Crown, in part to retain the open nature of the original Streetscape as density infill takes place on larger Lots.

Following an extensive, successful Development Application process and Building Permit Approval, this New Home features modern living spaces with a rustic edge drawn from the original structure.
